Description
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) is the UK’s largest and most diverse representative body for British Muslims, advocating for over 500 affiliated mosques, educational initiatives, charities, and professional networks. In July 2025, the MCB hosted the UK’s first national AI & the Muslim Community Conference at Millennium Point in Birmingham. The event served as a practical forum to equip Muslim-led institutions with the technical knowledge to safely and ethically integrate artificial intelligence into their daily operations.
To support this milestone event, Auralis was engaged to design the conference's overarching visual presence. Our objective was to translate the MCB’s forward-looking Vision 2050 into a cohesive digital experience that would resonate with technologists, community leaders, and delegates attending the concurrent Annual General Meeting. The visual language needed to balance the modern complexity of artificial intelligence with the civic, community-first ethos of the organization.
Our studio designed a comprehensive suite of digital deliverables for the event. This included strategic presentation slide decks, lectern graphics, and an immersive stage backdrop optimized for Millennium Point’s massive 16×10-meter screen. The sheer scale of the venue required meticulous attention to layout, contrast, and typography, ensuring that core messages regarding digital ethics and data-driven administration were communicated with clarity and impact.
Extending our partnership beyond the studio, the Auralis team also supported the conference on the ground. We captured the day's events in real-time, speaking with attendees and gathering multimedia content and interviews. This dual approach of strategic design and active on-site participation allowed us to help the MCB amplify their central message: that the community must act as active leaders in the AI revolution, rather than passive consumers.
